Practice room aka torture chamber

So the practice rooms at Western aren't exactly the best in the world...okay...they are terrible. :P All the pianos are out of tune and the keys stick but I did notice that one of them is named after someone we all know and love.

In Honor of the Twighlight Series

Rachel attacking me because she's a vampiress.
I actually know nothing about the twighlight series except for the fact that its about vampires.

Apologies

In my previous post, I failed to mention a certain someone *cough Mrs. Graham cough cough* and I just wanted to apologize. It is always good to see you, and I seriously don't know why your name failed to make it into my blog! I am such a loser sometimes. But seriously...I love you!!!! :)

1-2-3, cha-cha-cha-nges

So...today Teej and I went back to the high school because I had to pick up a book. It was so extremely weird being back and I've only been gone a few months...really really really weird!
Everything seems so much tinier when a few years ago, the high school campus seemed humongo!

I visited Jessup and it was good to see him and I was going to go visit Scotty; he wasn't there...what a loser, but Yo-manda was so that was awesome since I haven't seen her in awhile!

I had P.Patt's for the first time in a month as well and as always, it was delicious! A person should never go a month without Peppermint Patti's ice cream. Mmm...I love it! :)

Me nose is sunburnt and I like watermelon sunscreen.

Today my family had their annual get-together at the lake! It was soo much fun. We ate, and rode in my uncle's boat, and then rode the wave runner, which was definitely my favorite!

Funny story...it probably won't surprise any of you. :D

TJ was driving the wave runner and I was behind him, and Rachel was behind me...we had almost made it to the dock when my retard boyfriend decides he wants to cut a sharp turn (keep in mind, he's only driven the thing once before). So being the doof that he is, he makes the turn but the wave runner starts tipping. Teej slides off, which in turn causes me to slide off, which causes Rachel to fall off...talk about domino effect! It was actually really hilarious...we didn't entirely capsize...just kinda turned it on its side for a little bit. No one was hurt...we were all laughing pretty hard. It was a great day. Besides seeing Rachel mudbathing...that was gross...but hilarious all the same. Wish I'd had my camera with me...*sigh* what a loss.

rawr...that means I love you in dinosaur

ARGH!!! I had to park at the Ramsey Center overflow parking this morning. No Cat-Tran in sight, I hauled my butt up to Coulter in like five minutes (or less) and still managed to be like...10 minutes late for class. Grr...Western's parking is terrible...grr grr grr.

Okay... I feel much better now. :D My day wasn't all bad...classes were actually interesting today and I made Early Music Ensemble, which I had auditioned for a couple days ago. Yay! :)

According to Rachel: Another of my boring blogs

So after three days of college I realize that:

1. College isn't nearly as scary as it seems.

1 1/2. My schedule is kind of confusing.

2. There are some very...interesting people at Western; that is the nicest way to put it. Okay okay...there are some downright weirdos!

3. But then there are also some normal people....thank goodness!!!

4. My English professor is very cool and sterotypical in a good way. :D He wears tweed-ish jackets, glasses, and has neatly combed hair.

5. Music classes keep you busy...if you aren't rehearsing you're going to listen to a performance.

6. By the end of this semester I'll have some kick-butt legs...hopefully. A lot of walking involved!

Besides looking forward to the awesome legs, there isn't really anything too interesting to talk about. Oh except for the mango smoothie that I had...it was EXCELLENT! I looooved it. :) Oh...and I met a girl from Bulgaria! She has a cool accent! I love accents!

I'm just ready to start making friends...getting to know new people can be hard; even for someone who is outgoing. Luckily, a few people from Franklin are there so I'm not completely lonely...and Rachel keeps me company but sometimes I ask myself, "Why do you hang out with her?"

I think I have musical tourettes...symptoms: bursting out into random song and dance at odd/random times.

7. College is a time for self-discovery.

Time for bed. I miss ya'll!

Love love love,
Abishmell!!!!
