Blonde...ish

Okay, so I'm not blonde, but I did get blonde highlights, which is big for me because I've never done any kind of coloring to my hair!  I really like how they look though. Very natural and very me...except TJ and Rachel have been throwing blonde jokes at me all evening.  Grrr. :D

What I love and don't love...

This year I've been trying to figure out what I really love and what I really don't care for all that much.  It's been a bit of a self-discovery.
LOVE:

*  Music, more specifically piano music from classical/romantic periods, waltzes, show tunes, indie artists, European artists, and nostalgic music like 50s, 60s, and 90s rock and roll.

*CROONY voices....ohhhhhhh how I love crooners.  Frank Sinatra is my love. :D

*Reading...I've read so much this summer; forgot how much I love it and how it takes me far away.

*Movies, especially mushy chick flicks like the Notebook and Leap Year.

*Water, any kind of water...rain, lakes, oceans, drinking water.  I just love water...

*Playing in the rain

*Soccer--A new found interest

*My hair...it may be fluffy and fuzzy, but I've come to just embrace the frizzies...unless I straighten it. :)

*Blue Gatorade

*Workout clothes--spandex, leggings, tank tops, etc.  Especially from Aerie

*Pumas

*Dresses

*Cooking...I love trying new recipes

*Being fun, random, crazy, and spontaneous

*Love...the whole silly, giggly, fluttery feeling and later on, the deep emotional connection shared by two people whether it be between your God, friends, family, your one and only love...love is just such a great and powerful connection.

*Theatre

*Performing

*Food...food is good. Pretty much all food...but I've decided my favorite food is definitely any kind of Asian dish.  Ask me to go get Asian food and I'll probably drop any previously planned events just to go get Asian food...it's a weakness

*Impressionistic art....so beautiful, elegant, moving, and intriguing.

*World Cultures and Diversity

*Fast, hot, American muscle cars

*Recycling

*College

*Adorable, well-mannered kids

*Soft clothes, blankets, etc.

*Beautiful things

*Pink

*Blue

*Green

*White

*Accents...Deep South, European, Russian, anything!

*Being moderately conservative

*Nice-smelling people

*Staying up late

*Sleepovers

*Lemon yogurt masks

*Fun trips to anywhere and everywhere
*Wind whipping through my hair

*Summer breezes and starry, warm summer nights

*Romantic anything

*Tidiness, Organization

This isn't a complete list, but it's a start...Now for the things I dislike

Dislikes

*Rushing into anything

*Being in awkward social situations...awkward silences are the worst

*Growing up

*Rude people

*Ill-fitting clothes

*Terrible spelling and grammar...yes, even on facebook and in text messaging.

*When people sing through their nose or off key

*Dead batteries

*Red meat and pork in restaurants...I only like it when I know the people cooking it.

*Strange textures whether it be food or fabric

*People who think they know it all

*Pepperoni Pizza...I prefer Veggie or Supreme (without pepperoni)

*Close-minded thoughts

*Sometimes I don't like making decisions...This could go in the middle really.

*Finicky technology

*Busy work

*Grumpy customers

*Slacking

*Drama-mongers

*Being dull and boring

*Bad television shows

*Loosing touch with people, growing apart

*Tanning beds

*When people don't do their job

*Conceit, big head, etc.

I think that's about it for my lists...Not quite comprehensive, but pretty informative.

Love.

Oh so happy!

I am so happy to be doing a show again.  I have missed it so much...I mean, it's a smaller show so there aren't as many rehearsals but it's still with a lot of fun people!  I love it, love it, love it and I miss it when I can't participate.

I want some adventure, a change of pace, a high-speed chase down a wide open road

Besides Disney and a few other fun days, this summer has been boring. I hate saying I'm bored; I feel bad about saying it, because I could be productive, but I want to have fun.  I feel like every day is the same; I wake up, get ready, go to work, come home, read or practice, go to sleep.  Rinse and Repeat.
I rarely get to see my friends (because most of them live away or work all the time--like me) or my boyfriend for that matter.  Ugh...even though I'm taking 19 hours, attending a night class Monday through Thursday, teaching piano lessons a couple days a week, and working at the Dessert Factory, I think school starting will be a welcome change.  If for anything, a change of faces, a change of pace.

I've been slacking!

I haven't written a blog in quite some time, but really there hasn't been anything to write about.  My summer has been fun, but rather uneventful except for an AMAZING trip to Disney World and some fun days with TJ and Rachel and other friends!  Other than that I've just been working a lot, practicing some, and relaxing.  I feel like this isn't even worth posting because it is so uninteresting but I wanted to post a blog. :D
